Lantern Night Hike Experience

Join Hike & Dine Events on Saturday, November 14th for our Lantern Night Hike at Brighton Recreation Area during our Fall Campout Weekend.

We’ll be hitting the trail after dark for a cozy fall night hike filled with lanterns, crisp air and good company.

Registration is required for everyone attending. Please bring a lantern, flashlight or headlamp, wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress warmly for the weather.

After registering, you’ll receive the exact meetup location, parking instructions, arrival details and any additional information you’ll need before the hike.

I understand that participation in the Night-time Lantern Experience involves walking and physical activity, and I am voluntarily participating at my own risk.

I understand and agree that this hike will take place after dark and that visibility will be limited. I understand that the trail may include uneven terrain, roots, rocks, leaves, mud and other natural conditions that may be more difficult to see at night.

I understand and agree that I am responsible for bringing my own working flashlight, headlamp or lantern. I understand that a headlamp or flashlight is strongly recommended even if I plan to carry a lantern.

I voluntarily choose to participate in this hiking event and knowingly assume the ordinary and inherent risks associated with hiking and outdoor recreational activities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Hike & Dine Events, its organizers, hike leaders, volunteers, and representatives from claims arising from the ordinary and inherent risks of my voluntary participation, except where liability cannot legally be waived.

I understand this is an outdoor event and conditions may be cold, wet, muddy, or unpredictable. Event plans may be adjusted or canceled due to unsafe weather or trail conditions.

I agree to follow reasonable safety instructions provided by Hike & Dine hike leaders and trail support. I will not intentionally separate from the group or leave the hike without notifying a Hike & Dine team member whenever reasonably possible.
