Hike & Dine Year End Award Show 2026: The People's Choice

Your Fellow Hikers. Your Nominations. Your Vote.

We've shared a lot of miles, taken on some incredible adventures, made new connections, and created plenty of unforgettable moments throughout 2026. Now it's time to recognize the people who helped make those experiences what they were!

Welcome to the Hike & Dine Year End Awards Nominations, where YOU get to shine the spotlight on your fellow hikers! We've put together a mix of fun, unexpected, and meaningful award categories that celebrate the personalities, dedication, accomplishments, and memorable moments within our hiking community.

From the hikers who always seem to get lost on their way to the trailhead to the ones who inspire others, push their limits, or make newcomers feel right at home, there's a little something for everybody!

How Nominations Work

• Read through each award category and nominate the fellow hiker who comes to mind.

• Think back on your experiences with Hike & Dine throughout 2026.

• You can nominate the same person for more than one category.

• Some categories are just for laughs, while others recognize genuine achievements and positive contributions.

• Keep your nominations fun, respectful, and based on your personal experiences.

Who Can Participate?

To keep the nominations fair, you must have attended at least one official Hike & Dine hike, trip, or event during 2026 to participate.

These awards are meant to recognize the people who have actually been part of our experiences throughout the year. We want nominations to come from individuals who have had the opportunity to meet, hike with, or interact with members of our community.

While we appreciate everyone who follows and supports Hike & Dine, nominations submitted by individuals who have not attended an event with us this year will not be counted.

This isn't meant to exclude anyone. We simply want to make sure the recognition is genuine and that the results fairly reflect the experiences of those who have participated in our events.

Let the Nominations Begin!

This is your chance to give somebody their flowers, call out a familiar trail personality, or recognize someone who may not even realize the impact they've made.

Remember, this isn't about who's the most popular. It's about the people, personalities, and experiences that made our year memorable. Think about your fellow hikers, submit those nominations, and let's see who earns a spot on the official ballot!
