A Last Minute Hike & Dine Experience Before Black Hikers Week
Before we head north to Pictured Rocks and officially kick off Black Hikers Week, we had to make one more stop on the trails with the local community.
Join us this Sunday, May 31st at the beautiful Independence Oaks County Park for a scenic 4.8 mile morning hike filled with nature, conversation, movement, and community.
This trail is rated moderate, but relatively easy overall with a few rolling hills throughout the route, making it a great opportunity for both newer hikers and experienced hikers looking to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather and get their adrenaline pumping. Hiking poles will work perfectly on this trail for those who enjoy using them.
We’ll begin the morning with a quick group stretch session before taking off promptly at 9:00 AM.
