About the event
We’re heading up north for a quick overnight trip to the Traverse City area to take on one of the most exhilarating hikes you can experience in Michigan... a Dune Hike at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
This is not your typical trail. Between the loose sand, steep inclines, limited shade, and the elevation you’ll be gaining with every step, this HARD-rated hike will definitely have you working for those Lake Michigan views at the top. Every step is earned out here, but the reward is so worth it.
We’ll be arriving bright and early on Saturday (May 9th) to make the most of our day on the dunes. After the hike, we’ll head into Traverse City to grab a well-deserved bite and check out some of the local eats before getting some much-needed rest for the night… because trust us, you’re gonna feel this one.
