Hike & Dine: The Great Dunescape

The Great Dunescape took Hike & Dine Events to Sleeping Bear Dunes for a challenging day on the sand, surrounded by steep climbs, wide open views, and the beauty of Lake Michigan.

This trip was not your average walk in the park. The deep sand and rolling dunes pushed the group physically, but every climb came with a view that made it worth it. We moved with intention, supported each other along the way, and made space for laughter, rest, and real community.

After the hike, the group continued the experience in Traverse City with local food, good conversation, and a well-deserved moment to unwind. On the way home, a few members also made a peaceful stop at Dow Gardens, adding a calm and scenic close to an already memorable trip.

Sleeping Bear Dunes gave us challenge, beauty, and memories we will be talking about for a long time.
