Into The Equinox Hike: Bird's Hills Nature Area 2025

We celebrated the (almost) official first day of fall at Bird's Hill Nature Area, an approx. 5-mile loop through Ann Arbor’s scenic woods and riverside. For this hike, we faced rolling terrain and nearly 400 feet of elevation gain. This moderately challenging yet scenic route kept our legs working with steady ups and downs, great for building endurance, and enjoyed the nature around us.
