Hike & Dine: A Pictured Perfect Weekend Part ll

Tahquamenon Falls State Park gave us two completely different waterfall experiences in one stop.

We started at the Upper Falls, where the trail winds through the forest before opening up to Michigan’s largest waterfall and its unmistakable amber colored water. From there, we explored the Lower Falls, a quieter series of smaller cascades flowing around a wooded island.

Between the boardwalks, river views, forest scenery, and plenty of photo stops, this was one of those places where every part of the trail gave us something new to see.
