November Scavenger Hunt Hike at Kensington Metropark

Trail Level: Easy–Moderate (approx. 200 ft elevation gain with one main incline and fairly small rolling hills)

You voted, and we listened! We asked our Hike & Dine community on Facebook and Heylo to choose the vibe of our hike in November, and everyone loved the idea of a scavenger hunt hike, so we’re bringing it to life this November at Kensington Metropark! 

This experience will be slower-paced and interactive, as we explore the trail while searching for fall-inspired items, completing creative challenges, and capturing unforgettable moments along the way. Expect laughter, teamwork, and a little friendly competition, all at a relaxed, comfortable pace.

About the Trail:

This will be an easy–moderate hike featuring one main incline and a few small rolling hills. It’s the perfect balance of scenic and manageable, offering just enough challenge to keep things interesting while leaving plenty of time to enjoy the scavenger hunt.

PLEASE NOTE: 

This hike is designed for participants joining the scavenger hunt. If you plan to attend but prefer not to take part, please keep in mind this will be a leisurely-paced hike with periodic stops as groups find and record their items.

We’ll have up to 6 groups, each led by a Hike & Dine team member, who will guide participants along the route and help coordinate scavenger hunt progress. A detailed plan and group assignments will be sent to all registered participants after sign-up.

After the Hike, Let’s Dine & Celebrate!

When the trail wraps up, we’ll head to a local brunch spot to relax, dine, and relive the best moments from the scavenger hunt. Enjoy good food, cozy vibes, and plenty of laughter as we tally up points and announce the winning team! 

We will even announce and post the winning team’s photos will be featured in a Facebook post and on our website to share with the rest of the Hike & Dine community! Coming to the Year End Gala? We'll have another surprise for you as well!
