Let’s End Summer with a Bang
Join us for the ultimate outdoor celebration as we say farewell to summer with a jam-packed day of nature, wellness, water, food, music, games, and good company. This isn’t just a hike, it’s a full-on experience.
Last year, our first-ever Summer Send-Off was born out of pure spontaneity and turned into a beautiful surprise... our very first large group hike. We BBQ’d, played, hit the beach, and had the time of our lives sliding down a giant water slide. This year? We're going bigger, better, and bolder, and you're invited.
The Day at a Glance
🥾 Scenic Group Hike – We'll kick things off bright and early with a refreshing group hike through one of Stony Creek's most stunning trails. It's the perfect way to get grounded, connect with others, and embrace the beauty of the outdoors.
🔥 Fresh BBQ + Picnic Eats – Right after the hike, head to our picnic zone for hot food straight off the grill, served with love and good vibes. Enjoy the aroma of summer with burgers, hot dogs, grilled veggies, sides, and more.
🌊 Water Adventures – Not ready to eat right after the hike? Dive straight into fun with your choice of kayaking, pedal boats, or paddleboarding. Perfect for cooling off and enjoying the lake. (Water activity rentals are paid directly to the park.)
🧘♀️ Yoga Session w/ Starr – For a more chilled, soulful experience, join one of our beautiful hikers, Felicia aka Starr, for a grounding yoga session with good music to flow with the vibe at the picnic site.

🎨 Paint & Dine / Sip – Tap into your creative side while enjoying a chilled meal or drink. All supplies are included, just bring your imagination and good vibes.
🏖️ Beach Access + Chill Zone – Cool off at the beach, lay in the sun, or vibe out by the water with friends old and new.
🎢 Giant Waterslide – Bring your swimsuit and prepare to unleash your inner kid! The thrill is real, the laughs are louder, and the splash is worth it. (Slide access paid through park services.)
🎯 Yard Games + Music – Enjoy cornhole, jumbo Jenga, cards, and more.. all soundtracked by good music and even better energy.
🎁 Giveaways & Prizes – All registered participants with wristbands are eligible to win fun prizes throughout the day!
Registration Info:
Hike-Only Option – Free: If you just want to join us for the morning hike only, that’s completely fine. There’s no cost to participate in the hike alone, however, if you register for the hike and decide you want to stay for the fun later, you will have to pay the $10 to participate, and also note that activities are based on the activities chosen on your form.
Full Experience Wristband – $10: For those ready to enjoy the full event after the hike, we ask for a small $10 contribution. With your wristband, you’ll get:
Access to all picnic food + BBQ
Admission to yoga session
Access to Paint & Dine/Sip
All yard games & activities
Entry to the beach area
A chance to win giveaways & prizes
Note: Water activities (kayaks, paddleboards, pedal boats ($10) and the giant water slide ($2) ) are available to purchase through Stony Creek Metropark and are not included in your $10 wristband.
